Creativity has always been a part of who I am. Things that make our world a beautiful place to live in, are of great importance to me.
Music and theatre have the ability to bring joy and beauty to us. That idea influenced my decision to be involved in these areas from an early age through college. I studied music and theatre arts in college and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND.
While raising our family, I was involved in community music and theatre productions where I used my talents in set design, costuming, writing, directing and performing.
After working in various other fields, I needed to return to my roots and find a hands-on approach to do something beautiful in our world. I realized many of the concepts used in music and theatre also apply to interior decorating, another area of long time interest for me. All these create various harmonies, moods and functions for our lives.
With the idea that I could meld my creative talents, and our children now grown, I focused attention on my love of interior decorating. In 2004 I graduated from the Sheffield School of Interior Design, New York, and started my own business.
